Quiet location. Rooms a bit old

Quiet location 10 minutes walk from 2 metro stations. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated and would need a refurbishment. Breakfast could also be improved as it has little choice. The hotel is doing a lot in order to protect the planet, for example no single use plastic, which is a real problem in Greece.

Hotels fine, grotty area

Two nights at the hotel. Very happy with the hotel Rooms immaculate and clean, breakfast room good, roof top bar with a great view of the Acropolis Staff very on the ball. The hotel is in a very scruffy area. Not comfortable to walk after dark Get a taxi to the area around the Parliament building is my recommendation

First time we've stayed and was very impressed. The desk staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Checkout was midday, but because our flight was not until the evening, they changed out checkout time to five in the afternoon for a small fee. Room staff and dining room staff were excellent. Very good location close to several hop on, hop off bus routes. Local cafes are just near the hotel. Read a previous review about cockroaches, but no evidence of then at all now. A credit to the cleanliness of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, in an okay location

This hotel is an ideal base for visiting Athens, with a majority of the sights within a reasonable walking distance (30mins ish). The hotel itself is outside of the touristic areas, and the surrounding area could be a little intimidating to some. The hotel was clean and welcoming, with all the facilities one could need. The bed is a little on the firm side, but still comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The rooftop pool area was great, although quite windy whilst we were there. We also visited during spring, so the pool wasn’t particularly warm. That said, the loungers were comfortable and the drinks were great quality. We didn’t encounter any issues during our stay, but I’m sure that the friendly staff would be more than willing to assist. Each team member we spoke with was approachable and showed genuine interest in our plans for the day.

The most expensive $5.50 Coke

I hesitate to write a bad review but in this case I have no option. After paying well over $150 per night at breakfast, where the food was decent, one can have as much free orange juice, as much free coffee, as much free many otehr juices, but for a Coke, I had to fork out $5.50 each day. I went to a manager and said how outrageous it is that one has to pay for a Coke, which is cheaper than orange juice!and he just shrugged.
